The Sovereign Tuckerman RV Explorer slimline gas BBQ is available in two options slide or fixed, and has evolved from the success of the hooded model range, with a new low profile (just 180 mm high) configuration to permit installation in even more locations around your RV. The Tuckerman RV Explorer is offered standard on a runner system or as a fixed bracket system for installation on dedicated slide out kitchen units as installed within many RVs. Innovative features of the new Tuckerman RV Explorer model include a non-stick coated BBQ plate offering ease of cleaning and class leading heat distribution. A semi-permanent oven wire permits the conversion to stove-top configuration for the use of pots and pans within seconds. A full width removable fat tray makes cleaning the appliance easier again. Importantly the unit is lightweight; for the slide model at just 12.7kgs (including the runner assembly) and 9.7 kg (including mounting brackets) for the fixed model. Like other Sovereign models, the Tuckerman RV Explorer features a rotary piezo ignition system and heat control in the one simple control system. A thermocouple flame failure safety system is standard for ultimate peace of mind.
