  • Clean igniter electrode
  • Reposition electrode (see further details)
  • Contact Sovereign BBQs
  • Check gas source, refill cylinder if needed. Check hose for kinks.

  • Clean burner and valve orifices, then check hoses.

  • Check there is a gap bwtween side of BBQ and control knob, when the control knob is pushed in (see further details). Remove control knob and check for damage (see further details).
  • Check air intakes are not blocked. Use only a low setting when the lid is closed.
  • Clean burner and valve orifices, check hoses. Bravo / Bushman burner alight both sides.
  • Reposition electrode (see further details).

Alpha & Outback Thermocouple Positioning

  • Install the thermocouple sensor onto the thermocouple bracket.
  • Thermocouple sensor is to be positioned horizontal to the burner with the tip approximately 4mm above the burner.
  • The tip of the sensor passes over the burner holes by 2mm.
  • Tighten the locking nuts using 2 x spanners to ensure it is locked tight into position.

Bravo & Bushman Thermocouple Positioning

  • The tip of the Thermocouple sensor is to be 2mm from the vertical side of the burner.
  • Align the Thermocouple sensor second hole from the end.
  • The thermocouple tip than the burner hole.
  • Tighten the locking nuts using 2 x spanners to ensure it is locked tight into position.
